When using Chrome browser to perform HTML 5 Remote Control to an Agent machine, a security warning shows "Your connection is not private. Attackers might be trying to steal your information from [core server name] (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_COMMON_NAME_INVALID". While legacy Remote Control has no problem connecting to the Agent machine.
This error is seen because the browser is referencing the self-signed certificate that LDMS/EPM generated on the core server, and copied down to the clients. However the certificate is not installed properly on the client as a trusted certificate, so this prompt appears.
1. Add RCHTML5 certificate to the client's Trusted Root Certification Authorities store. Detailed steps can be found on this article.
2. On the page with the security warning, click on Advanced>Click on Continue. This would ignore the security warning and continue to visit the site.
