"Error connecting to server" on Mobile client

    Problem

    Connecting to a RES ONE Service Store server via the RES ONE Service Store Mobile client results in an on-screen error: "Error connecting to server".

     

    Cause

    The Service.config file is missing the required information.

     

    Solution

    The Service.config file is located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\RES Software\IT Store\Web Portal\MobileGateway\Config folder and should resemble the following format.

    Replace any information for your database connection with the appropriate information for your environment.
