ProblemConsider the following scenario:
- A Citrix XenDesktop 7.x environment with Client OS Virtual Desktop Agents is used.
- RES ONE Workspace is used.
- Within RES ONE Workspace a screensaver is configured to take start when the Virtual Desktop Agent is locked.
CauseThe Citrix process GfxMgr.exe prevents the screensaver becoming active .
SolutionTo make sure the screensaver becomes active when the Virtual Desktop Agent is locked, execute the following process on the agent:
powercfg -requestsoverride PROCESS GfxMgr.exe DISPLAY
This process is not available on a Server OS.
