ProblemSuspending all RES ONE Workspace Relay Servers that are available to a RES ONE Workspace Agent causes a spike in connection attempts.
This is particularly noticeable when a large volume of RES ONE Workspace Agents connects over a network with limited bandwidth.
Typically, multiple connections from each RES ONE Workspace Agent can be seen every minute.
These connections are attempted every minute even though the “Fetch change information” is set to more than 1 minute.
SolutionThis issue is resolved in RES ONE Workspace 2016 SR2.
In case the Service Release is not (yet) available or in case the Service Release cannot be installed, a revision containing this update is available on request at RES Support.
IMPORTANT: A revision contains multiple fixes. Only apply this revision when you are experiencing a specific problem.
Unless you are severely impacted by this specific problem, RES Software recommends that you wait for the next service release containing these fixes.
