A 'per seat' license on application level cannot be released

    Problem

    Release of a per seat license on application level does not work if the RES ONE Workspace Agents and RES ONE Workspace Console are connected to a RES ONE Workspace Relay Server.

    Consider the following scenario :
    • An application is configured with licensing.
    • As license type per seat license is configured.
    • RES ONE Workspace Agents are connected to RES ONE Workspace Relay Server.
    • RES ONE Workspace Console is started on a machine connected to a RES ONE Workspace Relay Server.
    Releasing of licensing is not working as expected. The actual license seems to be releases but becomes not available for another user. 

     

    Solution

    This issue is resolved in RES ONE Workspace v10.

    In case the Service Release is not (yet) available or in case the Service Release cannot be installed, a revision containing this update is available on request at RES Support.
     
    IMPORTANT: A revision contains multiple fixes. Only apply this revision when you are experiencing a specific problem. Unless you are severely impacted by this specific problem, RES Software recommends that you wait for the next service release containing these fixes.
