Maintenance Task "Search for non existing users" reports AD group as invalid user when configured on access control on Workspace Container

    After running the maintenance task "Search for non-existing users" in the RES ONE Workspace console the search returns an existing Microsoft Active Directory Group as an invalid user. This option is available in the RES ONE Workspace Console: Administration > Maintenance > Select action:.

    This Microsoft Active Directory group has only been configured in Access Control for one or more Workspace Containers.

    When the action "remove non-existing users" is applied, the group is removed on the Access Control of the Workspace Container(s).

    The tab Access Control of the Workspace Container shows an Identity <removed by datastore maintenance>.



    This issue is resolved in RES ONE Workspace 2016 SR1.
    In case the Service Release is not (yet) available or in case the Service Release cannot be installed, a revision containing this update is available on request at RES Support.
