After logging into a Citrix XenDesktop VDI session with RES ONE Workspace enabled the session will end up in a Windows Logon screen that will not continue to log on

    Problem

    After logging on to a Citrix XenDesktop VDI session the login will end up in a logon screen that will not continue to log on to the RES ONE Workspace managed session.

    This happens in a situation where you have logged on to a previous Citrix XenDesktop VDI session.


     

    Cause

    The Citrix XenDesktop VDI session has not been logged off properly which will still show the user session in Citrix Studio as logged on. 

    The new session will try to reconnect to that previous session but can't continue because it's logging off.



     

    Solution

    This issue is resolved in RES ONE Workspace 10.1.0.0

    In case the Minor Release is not (yet) available, or in case the Minor Release cannot be installed, contact RES Support to obtain more information on the availability of a Revision.

    IMPORTANT: A revision contains multiple fixes. Only apply this revision when you are experiencing a specific problem. Unless you are severely impacted by this specific problem, RES recommends that you wait for the next Minor Release containing these fixes.


    Workaround:

    Add the following entry to the Authorized file rules within your RES ONE Workspace configuration.

     

    This will exclude the Citrix XenDesktop VDA location of being scanned by the RES ONE Workspace Appguard driver.
