The option "Default behavior if running application is no longer authorized" does not work for denied file hashes

    Problem

    The running program is not terminated after a refresh if the hash is denied, the option "Default behavior if running application is no longer authorized" in the RES ONE Workspace Console in Security > Applications > Managed Applications does not apply for File Hashes.

     

    Cause

    The Application Security option "Default behavior if running application is no longer authorized" (In the RES ONE Workspace Console in Security > Applications > Managed Applications) was not implemented for Application Security with File Hash security enabled.

     

    Solution

    This issue is solved in RES ONE Workspace v10.1.

    In case the Minor Release is not (yet) available or in case the Minor Release cannot be installed, a revision containing this update is available on request at RES Support.

    IMPORTANT: A revision contains multiple fixes. Only apply this revision when you are experiencing a specific problem.
    Unless you are severely impacted by this specific problem, RES Software recommends that you wait for the next service release containing these fixes.
