Some Desktop Icons are removed after logging in to RES ONE Managed Session

    Problem

    After setting up RES ONE Managed applications to be displayed on the desktop they are removed as soon as you login to your RES ONE Managed session the next logon.

    Consider the following situation:

    - You have configured the InterceptManagedApps key and this is set to Yes.
    - The applications that are disappearing are configured with a Environment variable. This can be in the command line or in the parameter.
    - Upon checking the RES Workspace Manager Preferences the applications that are not available are also not available in the overview of the Desktop tab.

     

    Solution

    This issue is resolved in RES ONE Workspace 2015 SR3.

    In case the Service Release is not (yet) available or in case the Service Release cannot be installed, a revision containing this update is available on request at RES Support.

    IMPORTANT: A revision contains multiple fixes. Only apply this revision when you are experiencing a specific problem.
    Unless you are severely impacted by this specific problem, RES Software recommends that you wait for the next service release containing these fixes.
