Users are unable to activate the screensaver by clicking the 'lock' icon

    Problem

    Users cannot activate the screensaver by clicking the 'lock' icon in their system tray.

    Note:

    This issue will only occur when the RES Subcriber is used.

    Cause

    The RES Subscriber enables a user to integrate local applications in a Citrix/Terminal Server session. When RES Subscriber is used on a workstation, it will automatically disable the screensaver of an ICA or RDP RES Workspace Manager session.

    By activating the local/subscriber screensaver instead of the Citrix/Terminal Server screensaver, both local applications as well as Citrix/Terminal server applications will be protected.

    By design of RES Workspace Manager in combination with RES Subscriber.
