Configured actions in the RES Workspace Manager console may become disabled after clicking OK

Version 1

    Consider the following situation:

    - A Microsoft Windows operating system is used with a native language other than English.
    - RES Workspace Manager 2012 SR4 revision 1 or later is installed.

When opening an existing action for editing, or creating a new action in the RES Workspace Manager console, the action itself may become disabled after clicking OK.

For example when opening an Execute Command and clicking OK to close the window again may it render disabled.

The WMEDIT.exe which contains several forms of the RES Workspace Manager console is using a pwrxxxx.tmp file in %localappdata%\RES\WM\sessionnumber\ folder.
In this file the settings get translated to the OS native language instead of English which causes several options in the form to get disabled but also disables the action itself totally.

Which file WMEDIT.exe is using can be determined by opening the Microsoft Windows Task Manager and adding the command line column. From this column you can see which pwrxxx.tmp file is being used when the form is opened.
Closing the form will delete the tmp file, and a new tmp file will be created when opening the same form again.

This issue is resolved in RES Workspace Manager 2012 SR5 and RES Workspace Manager 2014 SR1.
