When an Ivanti Workspace Folder Synchronization task is performed, the User Event log shows any of the following error messages (and the files/folder are not synchronized properly):
- The metadata store replica is already in use
- Folder Synchronization, A storage engine operation failed with error
Due to an error in the Metadata Storage Service (where the .ID file gets corrupt), files/folders are not synchronized and the error appears in the Ivanti Workspace User Event Log.
Remove the .ID files and reinitialize the Folder Synchronization task.
The .ID files can be found in both folders that are defined in the Folder Synchronization task as Local folder and Remote folder.
The Local folder will contain the .META files as well. Removing the .META files will not alter the files in the Local folder or Remote folder.
