Duplicate agents in the RES Workspace Manager Management Console Agent List

    Problem

    When consulting the Agent list in the RES Workspace Manager Management Console, duplicate Agents are shown.


    Cause

    An image is used to install agents and Agent Identification is set to "Unique GUID generated by RES Workspace Manager".
     
    This is not a best practice when using an image to install / deploy clients or servers.

     

    Solution

    Change the way in which an RES Workspace Manager Agent is identified: 
     
    In the field "Identify RES Workspace Manager Agents by", select "Computer domain name & NetBIOS name".
