Unable to start a Citrix Published application from a Juniper external access solution

    Problem

    When publishing a managed applications to a Citrix XenApp environment from the RES Workspace Manager management console, a preceding backslash is added to the Client application folder under Shortcut Presentation in the Citrix Management Snap-in.

    In some situations, starting  the published application is not possible. An example would be the use of the Juniper external access solution.

     

    Cause

    In some situations, this backslash is interpreted is an addition to the name of the folder, and starting of the published appliction is not possible.

     

    Solution

    Add the "NoPrecendingSlashInPNFolder" registry entry to remove the "\" for all new Citrix Published Applications in the PN root folder.
