Exit button in Web Portal does not respond or work correctly in the User Session

    Problem

    If the feature Web Portal is enabled and a managed application is created for the Web portal the Exit button does not respond or work correctly. This is only an issue when using the option "When online, start a specific application (xx) instead of full desktop" on the Application node.

    If the Exit button is used, nothing happens or it immediately initiates a logoff.

     

    Cause

    Due to a code enhancement in RES Workspace Manager, the logoff procedure is improved for usage in the Web Portal.

     

    Solution

    This issue is resolved in RES Workspace Manager 2012 SR5.
     
    In case the Service Release is not (yet) available or in case the Service Release cannot be installed, a revision containing this update is available on request at RES Support.
     
    IMPORTANT: A revision contains multiple fixes. Only apply this revision when you are experiencing a specific problem. Unless you are severely impacted by this specific problem, RES Software recommends that you wait for the next service release containing these fixes.
