ProblemMicrosoft Office 365 Outlook is unable to show the "Change Password" dialog box after the Windows password for the user has changed. The user is unable to authenticate for Microsoft Office 365 Outlook in this situation.
This issue only occurs in the RES Workspace Manager Shell. The Microsoft Windows Shell with RES Workspace Manager does not show the issue.
CauseThis application or function depends on the explorer.exe shell. Explorer.exe is the default Windows shell executable.
When the RES Workspace Manager shell is the default shell for a user desktop, pwrmenu.exe runs as the shell process and not explorer.exe.
