Error: "CBA discovery & IPCheck Failed" when deploying a agent

    Problem:

    When trying to push out an agent to a new computer you receive the following error in the ScheduledTaskHandler log.

    Cause:

    The Computer name of the target is longer than the 15 character limit that NetBIOS can support. This is causing the hostname check that IPcheck performs to fail.

     

    Resolution:

    This problem does not occur when using the Advance Agent or the self--contained installation file.
