No users can be resolved under Access Control

    Consider the following scenario:
    • A Directory Service is configured with a NetBIOS domain name that differs from the domain part of the fully qualified domain name.
    • The Access Control on an item within the RES ONE Workspace Console is based on Users and groups.
    • The following groups are configured to allow access to users from Group A, except for the users that are also member of Group B.
      • Domain\Group A
      • NOT in Domain\Group B
    • Resolve users is clicked to see which users have access to the application.
    In this scenario no users are returned. The summary will show Number of users: 0.


    This issue is only visible in the RES ONE Workspace Console.
    The Access Control will behave as expected in the session of the users.



    This issue is resolved in RES ONE Workspace 10.1.0.

    In case the Minor Release is not (yet) available, or in case the Minor Release cannot be installed, contact RES
    Support to obtain more information on the availability of a Revision.
