Remote Control of a user session from the RES ONE Workspace Console is not possible if session is hosted on the same server

    Problem

    When trying to remote control a User Session which is hosted on the same server where the RES ONE Workspace Console is started,  the following error message appears:


    "It is not possible to remote control a user session from the console"



     

    Solution

    This issue is resolved in the following versions:

    RES ONE Workspace 10.2.0.0
     
    In case the Minor Release is not (yet) available, or in case the Minor Release cannot be installed, contact RES Support to obtain more information on the availability of a Revision.
     
    IMPORTANT: A revision contains multiple fixes. Only apply this revision when you are experiencing a specific problem. Unless you are severely impacted by this specific problem, Ivanti recommends that you wait for the next service release containing these fixes.
     
    Workaround:

    It is possible to remote control the user session from another server which is not used to host the session.
