Empty desktop and/or 'Connection Interrupted' error message during logoff of the user session

    Consider the following scenario:
    • The operating system used is Microsoft Windows 7 (x86 or x64) or Microsoft Windows Server 2008.
    • Citrix XenApp or Citrix XenDesktop 7.12 or higher is being used.
    • RES ONE Workspace or lower is being used.
    With this configuration, during logoff the user session could end in an empty desktop and/or the error message "Connection Interrupted' is being displayed.

    The netguard.sys filter driver being used by RES ONE Workspace in the described scenario only for Microsoft Windows 7 and Microsoft Windows Server 2008, is a TDI filter driver. In some situations this type of driver could cause the described issue.



    This issue is resolved in RES ONE Workspace 10.1.0.  
    In case the Minor Release is not (yet) available, or in case the Minor Release cannot be installed, contact RES Support to obtain more information on the availability of a Revision.
    IMPORTANT: A revision contains multiple fixes. Only apply this revision when you are experiencing a specific problem. Unless you are severely impacted by this specific problem, RES recommends that you wait for the next minor release containing these fixes. 

    NOTE: The netguard.sys TDI filter driver is being replaced by the WFP type filter driver only for Microsoft Windows 7 and Microsoft Windows Server 2008. The WFP filter driver is already being used for operating systems higher than Microsoft Windows 7 or Microsoft Windows Server 2008.
