Driver-related errors may occur after uninstalling older versions of RES ONE Workspace followed by a fresh installation of RES ONE Workspace 10.1 or higher

    If a previous, older version of RES Workspace Manager or RES Powerfuse was uninstalled from a machine before installing RES ONE Workspace version 10.1 or higher, RES ONE Workspace driver related errors could occur when a user logged on to a RES ONE Workspace managed machine.


    Errors that might occur:

    Process: pfwsmgr.exe
    Procedure: sharedImgGuard.fysnConfigureImgGuard
    Error: The Method or operation is not implemented.

    Process: pfwsmgr.exe
    Procedure: FlushBuffer2AG; Declined rules/types
    Error: <Unknown>


    Process: Pfwsmgr.exe
    Procesure: RESGuardDriverBase.TryGetDriver
    Error: The Type initializer for RES.Kernel.Drivers.RESDil threw an exeption (InnerExeption: Failed to load library C:\Program Files (x86)\RES Software\Workspace Manager\ResDil.dll



    Older drivers or processes are still available on the system, drivers might still be loaded and active after uninstalling RES Workspace Manager or RES Powerfuse.


    This issue is resolved in RES ONE Workspace


    In case you are running a newer version that and the issue still occurs, please check the Windows Event Log for any certificate related issues. This issue can also occur due to an outdated or corrupted Windows Certificate Cache. In that scenario multiple errors will be visible whereby the certificate cannot be checked for Workspace Control processes. When this happens revert back any changes that have been made to the Operating System in the recent past.
