High CPU usage on PFXA7.exe if RES ONE Workspace is installed on Citrix Delivery Controller 7.x

Version 1

    Problem

After installing RES ONE Workspace on a Citrix XenDesktop 7.x controller, the CPU can consume lots of resources which will be visible in the Microsoft Task Manager. The PFXA7.exe process is using about 80% of the CPU consumption.

This happens on a Citrix XenDesktop 7.x controller where Ivanti Workspace is installed and the Citrix XenDesktop VDA is not installed. The PFXA7.exe CPU spikes frequency depend on the settings of the RES ONE Workspace Agent update interval settings in the Ivanti Workspace Console.

A higher interval will result in less CPU spikes.
