RES VDX Connection is not established in a RES managed session with the RES Shell active

    Problem

    Considering the following scenario:
    • RES VDX is running integrated with RES ONE Workspace 10.1 or later
    • RES ONE Workspace Shell is used in the RES managed remote session
    When the user starts a RES managed remote session, the RES VDX connection is never established.
    The RES VDX status screen only displays the following information

     

    A RES trace log shows the following (recurring) entry:

    tmrVDX_Timer; async Process shortcuts still busy

     

     

    Solution

    This issue is resolved in Ivanti Workspace Control 10.2.500.0

    In case the Minor Release is not (yet) available, or in case the Minor Release cannot be installed, contact Ivanti Support to obtain more information on the availability of a revision.

    IMPORTANT: A revision contains multiple fixes. Only apply this revision when you are experiencing a specific problem. Unless you are severely impacted by this specific problem, Ivanti recommends that you wait for the next Minor Release containing these fixes.
