    When clicking on the online folder in the folder list of GoldMine Email Center.

    You get the following error: Error: This account is currently being checked in the background! Please try again later.

    Cause

    This can be caused because GoldMine is constantly checking for new email.( this can happen if you set the "retrieve mail every" to a very low time like 1 min.)

     

    This happens more if there are several emails stored on the email server and "auto-delete" email is not selected.

     

    Resolution

    Note: This fix will configure the GoldMine email center to delete the emails from the server. If you wish to make a copy of this mail. You can copy the email to a different folder using your online mail provider you may do so first.

    3. Email

    4. More Options button

    5. Retrieval tab

    6. Retrieve mail every "    "

    7. Enter 10 mins.

    11. Accounts button

    12. Double Click on the email account

    13. Check the box for "Auto Delete"

    14. Go back to email center and click on the online folder. You should now be able to download the email.

     

    This has been a confirmed fix for this error.
