Error: "Invalid User Settings Local cache location" is logged in the user Event Log

    Problem

    In an offline situation, no User Settings are loaded in an Ivanti Workspace Control session, although in Composition > User Settings > Settings tab, the Cache location is configured with a local location, e.g. %LOCALAPPDATA%\RES\WM\Cache.

     

    In the Users Event Log, the error Invalid User Settings Local cache location is logged, like in the screenshot below:

     

     

    Solution

    This can be resolved by resetting the users profile. No issue has been found in the Ivanti Workspace Control software or configuration.
