When starting the pwrtech.exe with a parameter the executable will automate an action, e.g. import file hashes or extract the encrypted Relay Server password.
During the start of the pwrtech.exe, seven pwr[randomID].tmp files will be created in C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Local\RES\WM\[sessionId]. They all have a size of 528KB.
If the pwrtech.exe is used on a management machine to automate actions, this might rapidly fill-up the local C-drive.
When starting the Ivanti Workspace Control Console, localized Navigation map .bmp files are generated which are used as a landing page in the Ivanti Workspace Control Console, these are removed when the actual Administrator closes the console.
Because the console executable is triggered to start without a GUI, the pwr[randomID].tmp files are not renamed to boss_navmap_%lang%.bmp, closing the console is also not triggered by the administrator and therefore the .tmp files are not removed.
This issue is resolved in Ivanti Workspace Control 10.2.900.0.
