    Why is there no entry being logged in User Installed Applications after installing an application?

     

    When the User Installed Applications Wizard is used to perform an installation and the wizard is cancelled, there is no entry logged at Ivanti Workspace Control Console > Security > Applications > User Installed Applications > Log.

     

     

    Answer

    If the User Installed Applications Wizard is cancelled before confirming that the installation process has successfully completed, there is no entry logged.

    If the User Installed Applications Wizard is cancelled after confirming that the installation process has successfully completed, there will be an entry logged.

    Warning:

    • Shortcuts are not created If the User Installed Applications Wizard is not finished.
    • With the security features enabled, access is not granted if the User Installed Applications Wizard is not completed.
