Consider the following scenario:
- Named licenses are used in Ivanti Workspace Control.
- Agents connect through Workspace Control Relay Servers.
- The connection to the Relay Server is intermittently unavailable.
In this scenario, the following warning message could be displayed to the user during login:
No Ivanti Workspace Control licenses available for this session
Session continued, grace period active (45 days left)
The Workspace Control Errors Log will show the following error message:
Error #: -
Error Description: The maximum number of users has been reached, grace period active (45 days left)
On a regularly base, Workspace Control checks the database if cached Named license claims are still valid.
If an agent connects through a Relay Server, then this check is done via the Relay Server.
In the above scenario, the Workspace Control Agent could not find the cached license because it did not receive a response from the Relay Server.
This issue is resolved in Ivanti Workspace Control 10.3.10.0.
