    A quick guide on how to set Avalanche with HTTPS using self signed certificate tool.

    1. First create a self signed certificate. (You can download the tool in the attachment section)

    2. Copy your certificate (.p12) and paste it under C:\Program Files\Wavelink\Avalanche\Web\conf\

    3. Backup server.xml under C:\Program Files\Wavelink\Avalanche\Web\conf\ and save it under a backup folder.

    4. Open server.xml under C:\Program Files\Wavelink\Avalanche\Web\conf\ and remove the following HTTP connector:

    <!--

    <Connector port="8080" protocol="HTTP/1.1"

    connectionTimeout="20000"

    redirectPort="8443" />

    -->

    5. Replace it with the below connector. Make sure to modify: Location of your Certificate (step 2) & Name of your Certificate & Certificate Password. Save your changes.

    <Connector port="8443" protocol="org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11NioProtocol"

    SSLEnabled="true" maxThreads="150" scheme="https" secure="true" clientAuth="false"

    sslProtocol="TLS"

    keystoreFile="C:\Program Files\Wavelink\Avalanche\Web\conf\name of SSL certificate.p12"

    keystorePass="certificate password" keystoreType="PKCS12" />

    6. Go to Windows Services and restart WavelinkTomcat

    7. You should now be able to launch Avalanche through HTTPS, remember to change port 8080 to 8443 https://localhost:8443/AvalancheWeb/login.jsf
