Error: Byte data not found at location: <path> after importing a report into LDMS from iReport

    Problem: After importing a report from the iReport tool into the LDMS reporting console, the report fails to run with the message "Error: Byte data not found at location: <path>" , where the path points to an image file included in the report.

     

    Cause: The image file referenced is not available to the AMP / LDMS reporting console. This usually happens when using an iReport template with embedded graphics as the basis for an LDMS report.

     

    Resolution: Copy the files you need included in the report to ...\Program Files\Avocent\ManagementPlatform\reporting\resources folder on the core server. This will make them available for the AMP/LDMS reporting engine.
