You could add a boolean to the category object. Set this for the categories not to show and then have a conditional filter for end users that only shows categories with the boolean equals false.
I tried in the other way, I have added a Filter query(Let's say Category filter) in which the criteria is set to show all the categories except the LANDesk category and in the Filter condition,
Raise User/User Type/Title as End User.
If I don't use the filter condition then the filter query was working fine and the LANDesk category was hiding for every one(End Users and Analysts). But here in my case, I just want to hide that LANDesk category only for End Users.
Am I missing anything ???
I am assuming you are populating the Raise User attribute on your form?
If you are try modifying the condition to just be RaiseUser/UserType rather than the current setting.
Let me know :-)
Already tried with that Andrew, but still I'm getting that category in the End user screen.
For me it works with incident source: This value is set by template, and conditions based on this always works.

So you have changed the condition to be RaiseUser/UserType = End User ?
The Raise User attribute is populated with a user with a class type of End User?
Which version are you using? I tried this yesterday on a v7.8 build and it worked as expected. Let me know :-)
I'm on the LDSD v7.7.2 .
This is working now after adding a rule from the window manager.
