I have a LANDesk application server & DB server in my environment.
I need to install the management console on helpdesk admin machines for them to have connectivity with LANDesk server & do the necessary admin stuff.
Question: why does the Client side LANDesk management console requires direct connection with Database server?
To some institutes/customers, this is a security concern where client machines should not be allowed to directly connect with database server.
Any way to overcome this?
