Just to clarify confirm - are you using Asset Central / Service Desk here, or are you talking about creating a query in LANDesk Management Suite and you want to know "what devices are vulnerable to MS Office Vulnerability XYZ" ?
I am on Landesk Managemen suite, when I do my query, I have 64 000 results due at the diferrent security update of office who are included on the results. I just want to have the name as "Microsoft office standard 2010" and nothing else.
I think what az means is a query in LDMS that shows me all Microsoft Office versions from "Add Remove Programs" but without the whole Microsoft patch and security updates fuss.
Sounds like an easy one if you have data analytics.
You have to add "Software - Licensed Software - ID" LIKE "Microsoft Office" to your query and add the same value to the columns in the bottom of the query window.
If you don't have Data Analytics, I don't have an idea how you can achieve this....
Hope it helps.
OK - moved the thread over to a more relevant part of community then (Management Suite inventory rather than ITAM).
So yes - the query example above is fairly straight forward. The question I'd have is "what does your query look like right now" if you've got the "wrong" results, show us what your query looks like .
Having DA would make this very easy as you'd just query on the licensable product. You could probably exclude updates from the query - it'd help if we could see what you're currently querying and whether you do / do not have access to Data Analytics.
Also - what version of LANDesk Management Suite are you on in general? (Not super relevant, just nice to know).
