Apologies for the delayed response for this question. I raised this with our Product Management team but was then away for some time.
There is no way to manually set ALT values in the Web Access interface. You can add them to any images that are added via report templates as you have control over the HTML. You do however have the option to change the font colours/sizes and colour scheme on a per-user basis for allow for high size/contrast display. Our best recommendation for screen reader support is to use the Mobile Self Service (soon "fuse") interface.
How would this work for an analyst, since they need web desk and not just self service?
Hi did you find a solution to this, as we have someone who is having the same issue.
We have been working with Ivanti to improve accessibility, currently our only workaround is using Service Desk mobile (as a screen reader seems to be able to view it better).
Has there been any more update on using Webdesk with a Screen Reader?? Or has anyone else found an alternative solution / product which actually reads the screen as other applications do.
Nothing has changed that I am aware of. Not sure if the HEAT acquisition will help with this in the future. We are currently moving to another product.
