you have to bring out a Agent Setting to disable the Self-Electing Subnet-Services in that subnet.
See this Workarounds for that Problem:
Targeted Multicast Client Service Executable - tmcsvc.exe has very high CPU on all clients
I allready reported that issue in the Forum and at the support.
From the Support-Case I have the feedback that this will be investigated as high-priority bug.
One Question? How big is the subnet where you expirence that problems?
Best regards, Marco
Thank you for your answer.
To answer your question: all our subnets are impacted by this multicast saturation.
We do not have CPU saturation.
We are in version: IVANTI 2017.3 SU2.
We did what is indicated, but unfortunately the problem persists for us.
In order for the multicast problem to be fixed, we are obliged to deactivate the service "TMCSVC.EXE" (LanDesk Targeted Multicast).
But after deactivate it, we can't use PeerDownload. We are blocked!
Thank you for your help
Finaly it's ok after disabled SESS. An incident "DEFECT" is always open with Ivanti support. This is a bug in IVANTI 2017.3 SU2.
