Usually that means that the user is not a member of the LANDesk Administrators group, instead they are a member of the LANDesk Management Suite Group on the core server.
What groups is that user a member of?
Same error with LDMS 9.0 SP3
Is it really necessary to be in the LANDesk Administrtors group for OSD. Isn't Provisioning Role sufficient ?
I 've found that :
- Be a member of the "LANDesk Script Writers" group is required for some OSD functionality
- the "LANDesk Script Writers" Group hasn't got NTFS write rights on "LDMAIN\scripts" shared directory.
So now it seems to be nice without be a member of the LANDesk Administrators group.
Be aware that Provisioning and OSD by scrips are 2 different things. So no, Provisioning role isn't sufficient for OSD by scripts, you need access to the scripts as you described.
