according to your log, it is failing when trying to download diskinfo.exe into X:\LDClient
It could be possible that the certain machines that you are imaging are running out of RAM, therefor not allowing the download of the file or any other actions. How much ram do you have on these machines.
If you do have enough ram, try increasing the size of your winpe a little bit and see if that helps. There is a button in LDMS under OSD that allows you to do this...
I now have 59MB free in the image. I'll have to see what happens.
I made the increase to the WinPE and it still fails on the one that I am working on.
I checked the logs while it is imaging and based on the time the file was written, it failed almost immediately after the imaging tool launched. I'll have to monitor another image just to see. It is another 34 minute image time, where the previous machine took only 10 minutes and finished all of the processes.
eta: it may not be error'ing out right away. I haven't been able to catch when the log writes the error.
courious, after the image is layed down. can you open up the command prompt and browse to C: ?
on some machines you might have to mount the drive first before it can do tasks to c:
