Some OSD jobs from PXE menu are not rebooting every time

I have had a problem for some time now where some of our imaging jobs do not copy over the sysprep file and reboot after the image is complete. It doesn't happen every time and not on every machine. Sometimes when it happens, the same machine will never completely image. I actually started putting in a sysprep.ini file before creating the image that would call a bat file on a server to try to get it to go. It seems like after the image is done, it has lost its connection with the core server and just stops running the rest of the tasks. Sometimes the image may take 10 minutes, other times it will take 30 minutes. Usually when it takes 30 minutes, it will not copy and reboot. If it is losing the connection, why does that happen? The machine will boot up and run through sysprep with the ini file that was created before the original image.

      Anyone have this issue before?

currently on 8.8SP3 and probably will not be able to go to 9 for a few months.
