In my case, it is not a recurrent error.
So, that seems like a normal thing.
All, this problem is unrelated to the referenced documents in prior posts. The cause is the inventory service is sending a delete to a single field instead of the entire row for an item and the error is because we cannot set the fields to null. We are tracking this for 8.8 and 9.0 under CR 43907.
An easy workaround for the until a patch is released is to open configure services - inventory, open the attributes button. Scroll down on the right section until system capability is found, move it over to the left (available attributes) section and hit OK. Then apply and restart the inventory service.
This makes it so the inventory server ignores those attributes when sending the scan. The data you ignore is technology name such as AMT, VMWare_VM etc.
