What Version of Outlook is it?

Try unregistering and registering the following dll file with the commands below.  Make sure Outlook is closed.

          Unregister: regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\LANDesk\ldclient\Antivirus\ldoutlookaddin.dll"

          Register: regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\LANDesk\ldclient\Antivirus\ldoutlookaddin.dll"

If that doesn't work, what version of the ldoutlookaddin.dll file do you have?

          Hope this works for your.

I would start with the Log files

Check log files (Running "Vulscan av" opens the folder in which all these logs reside.)

Avservice.log contains output from the service.

Avservice_update.log contains output from the process that was launched to do the last pattern file update.

Avservice_scan.log is the output from the avservice launched to do some type of directory or system scan

One of these should have some information on the problem. You can also use the Vulscan /RemoveAV and Vulscan /InstallAV switches to try a reinstall.

              Thank you!

It's very nice to know the switches for installing and uninstalling LDAV... worked like a charm.

Re-registration of the DLL did not.... but re-installing fixed the problem.
