The WAIK is needed more for a legal thing (we need to check you have a valid WiNPE thing), you don't actually need to configure WAIK.
You do need to set up the relevant bits in LANDesk (I.e. - make sure you've rolled out a PXE Representative, that you have the relevant OSD scripts...).
But in regards to WAIK (if that's what your question is about), then no - you do not need to configure it at all. All it was is just an "enablement" tool so we could ensure (from a legal standpoint) that all is well, as it were.
