We were rolling out a software suite using Policy Based Push in LanDesk 9. The software suite caused issues and its distribution needed to be halted. The job was first cancelled and still the machines that had the suite removed reinstalled it the next day. We deleted the job, and the reimstallation continues. I dug through the Policy Invoker Log and found a path to a file call Active.Task.XML. That file points to the installation package for the suite we were pushing out.
My question is this:
Is the policy invoker seeing the Active.Task.XML and trying to install the software because of that XML File and will deleting the file stop the PCs from trying to install the software suite?
