I've seen one other post with a similar topic for this issue.
In my lab I have configured a Win 7 64 bit Hii image. It deploys just fine to three different models. The issue I have is that profile migration never completes within the OSD task. The last two lines of my OSD log file read:
"DOMMEMHP6000","ERR_TimeOut",0,0:06:27,6/24/2010 10:47:17 AM,6/24/2010 10:53:44 AM,"cmd /c xcopy /Y "\\Xpclient23\OSD\Profiles\DOMMEMHP6000.*" "C:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk\LDClient\", STATUS"
; "Job Complete","1 Done","0 Failed","0 Off","0 Unknown"
DOMMEMHP6000 is the name of the image file. As you can see, there is an ERR-TimeOut entry in reference to the profile migration.
I think the issue is related to the state that Win 7 is in after the image process. If I try to manually push out the profile immediately after the machine boots to Win 7, the task fails with "Cannot find the file specified". If I reboot the machine, however, the (manual) profile deployment task completes. - WITH ONE NOTABLE BEHAVIOR. The Win 7 UAC pops up and asks if I want to allow SMA.EXE to run. If I click "Allow", then the profile is migrated - otherwise is fails.
Finally, it appears that with profile migration to Win 7 using OSD requires 3 reboots to complete. Does this sound normal?
Like I said, there is another post that remains unanswered that describes my issue as well. http://community.landesk.com/support/message/43957#43957
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
