I have a Client that is running Symantec End Point Security. They want to push Windows XP SP3 out to their desktops\laptops with Security and Patch 8.8 sp3. When running the patch install task the XPsp3 install fails or hangs up because Symantec endpoint is blocking the LANDesk server from talking to the client because there are not any Antivirus exceptions. Is there a document with best practices for antivirus exclusions? Also I know there was a document with files and services used by LANDesk 8.8 but can't find it ant the moment so if anyone knows what the article is called that may help.
