SQL 2008 support only kicked in with 726 onwards I'm afraid.
So how about if you have an existing database in SQL 2005 (SD 7.2.5) and you want to migrate to SQL 2008 compatibility.
Can you create a blank DB in 2008 format..
copy all the objects into it.. run MDM and get the DB ready for an upgrade.. (SD 7.3.2)
or even the reverse..
run MDM on existing database, have upgrade to new SD version, then copy all the database objects into SQL 2008 database?
If you were to use your 7.2.5 Service Desk database on SQL 2008 you would not be supported. If you're planning on just upgrading then either method below is acceptable.I'd recommend copying to 2008 first so that you can iron-out any access rights when you do the MDM rather than when you try the first login to Console.
