    Provisioning creating many scheduled tasks

      Hi all,

To preface the question, we PXE boot our bare metal machines and select WinPE Provisioning and then after it loads we manually login and select a template to deploy.

My question is if there is a way to still keep this process and prevent LANDesk from creating a new scheduled task for each machine?

While this is perfectly fine when everything works well, when there are errors it is hard to trace down which machine is having problems because they are each in their own schedule task.

I believe if we import MAC Addresses and and Device names before provisioning, we can select and place them all in the same task and let them run, but we process machines in large batches in non-sequential order so it would be difficult to pre-select each batch, which is why we are currently manually selecting the template.
