Limit view of OSD Scripts (permissions)

    EMiranda Expert

Shortly I am starting to train some of my team to log into 32-bit console to schedule imaging jobs.  Is it possible to limit what can be seen under their accounts?

I can setup permissions based on their role to only schedule which is what i want, but I would also like for them to only see the OSD scripts that they are aloud to schedule, right now they can see all the OSD scripts that I have created.

      any suggestions? Thanks

          EMiranda,

What you can try to do is change the NTFS permissions of the individual OSD scripts that you don't want them to see. You'll more than likely have to change the permissions of the ini files and the inf files in the landesk\managementsuite\scripts directory and landesk\managementsuite\landesk\files directory respectively.

I haven't done it but I don't see why that wouldn't work. Hope this helps.
