Have you checked your agent settings to ensure they are configured properly?
Have you rebuilt your agent setups?
Have you tried redeploying the agent?
Have you tried a clean install of the agent?
Is the target machine in a work group or domain?

they were built right before the rollout.

I'll try redeploying the agent before trying a clean install.
In many cases, the remote control service won't start after an install/upgrade unless the system is restarted.
To perform a clean install, you must uninstall the agent, restart and then install the new agent. You could try to make a script to remove the agent and push it from LANDesk, but I haven't tried that.
Remote control on landesk 9 worked only once with me, with a dummy admin user, that I don’t wanna use.
In the meantime, I restarted sevices on landesk 8, but I want to get landesk 9 to work properly…thing is I don’t have a lot of time to waste on that.
Its something to do on local profile, under c:\document and settings\%username%, that’s blockin it, I didn’t find yet the exact source of the problem…

I'd check permissions and security settings as well as anything firewall related.
You may also want to check the log files. Console.exe.log being one of them.
