    Force NIC Speed and Duplex

Hello, I'm trying to force the NIC Speed and Duplex on my Mgmt Gateway to 100/Full. I've added the appropriate statement to the /etc/modprobe.d/network file. However this file is overwritten each time the mgmt gateway is restarted by the hwdetect tool. I've also tried making the /network file read only..same results. Anyone have any ideas?

      Thanks!

Tom, the reason the file is being over written is becausee of the hardened nature of the Gateway, SUMO (free open source software) is detecting the changes and rewriting the old file when it sees that the file has changed.  There are no supported methods of disabling SUMO or changing that file.
