    including .MSP in a distribution package

    Rookie

      Transitioning from Zenworks to Landesk. Trying to figure out how to incorporate .MSP's with an application package.

      In Zenworks you would select the MSI tab and select "Patches". From there you would click ADD and point and click to the desired .MSP's.

      The same method could also be done for .MST's.

      I have figured out how to do transforms with LANDesk- command line TRANSFORMS=abcd.mst. However I can't seem to get PATCH=abcd.msp to work. Both with and without quotes.

      The MSP has been added to the "Additional files" distribution package properties.

      The error is "This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and is accessible..." 1635.

      command line is;

      /i TRANSFORMS=AcroPro.mst PATCH=AcroProStdUpd910_T1T2_incr.msp /norestart /passive

      Thanks,

      -Giles
