Anyone have any ideas how to make a query that returns machines with multiple monitors? I've tried doing a query on Monitor Number >0, but then I don't get back the first monitor, and I get back about 400 monitors for each laptop (I think I'll probably exclude laptops...) My machines could have up to 4 monitors on them.
I am curious if you found a way to identify multiply monitors. I am running into this dilemma now. Thanks
I'm afraid not. Wow, it's old thread day for me on the LD forums!
But if you do find a way, I'd love to know how.
I had similair question and a Landesk support engineer tolde me the following: Landesk gets the monitor info from Windows registry and do not use VESA query to identify the current display device itself. So that's why you can find not only the currently used display device in the monitor list but all of the ever used devices. In order to change this I opened a new idea at the end of last year...
I'm having this issue too. I voted for Zoltan's request but wanted to make a little more noise about it in case any of the LD peoples are listening.
